For over 20 years, from Boston to San Francisco, Karim has led individual companies in educating employees and facilitating more efficient business operations. He is sales-oriented and driven to increase industry assets and profits at every level of operation. As Executive Director and Principal at Bay Angels, his mission is to continue building a strong community of investors and entrepreneurs who want to foster technological innovations to make an impact, make a difference, make a profit. He has founded and co-founded six companies in the US and East Africa and is an active investor and advisor to companies in San Fransisco and Boston.

Gianni Maxemin - NoLoBlox Executive Director    A growth hacker and serial entrepreneur, Gianni’s dozen years of management and leadership experience across technology, politics, and consulting has given him a thorough understanding of exponential impact for business strategy and growth. For the Hearst Corporation, one of the largest marketing agencies in the US, he helped develop marketing technology buyouts as well as marketing strategy for sales teams. His campaigns outside of that include some of the most grueling startup campaigns in the US.  Gianni founded multiple online marketing companies and created many mobile apps, one being Pied Parker, the most cost-effective solution for impacted parking. Although Pied Parker is only a few years old, they have already acquired and broken boundaries in their field.
